Last Wednesday, Willamette Week included me and my bread in their yearly Best of Portland issue, dubbing me "Best Bada-Bing Baker". It's always nice to be noticed, of course. Only problem was next day the editor was on AM Northwest, and what he said was, at best, inaccurate.
Just to set the record straight: I am not, nor have I ever been, a killer. No offense, Byron--but the National Enquirer is more credible than your magazine to me now.

It was never my intention to indicate in any way that you are a killer, other than a killer baker!
Of course, you DO call it "Dave's Killer Bread," and your website works the ex-con angle pretty hard.... But I apologize if my offhand, joking remark on TV was taken seriously by anyone watching. You're still a best of portland to me.
